Blackiston Bowl
We love Blackiston
“This bowling alley has been so much better since the new or I guess I should say old mgr. Took it back over. They frequently offer specials. They have midnight bowling, with the loud music and black lights. They have league bowling for all ages. They do offer a snack bar and video arcade and pool tables. This is the local hang out spot for teenagers on the weekend. You need to get there early on the weekend to get a lane, or you will have to wait. Overall a great place.” -

Shadow Bowl
Bowling barefoot!
“My inlaws and I were out to have a nice evening at Pizza Hut and then decided to go bowling. When we walked in there was a sign up that said shoes had to be removed and left at the front door. We didn't like it and thought it was kinda weird, but we did what the sign said. We bowled 3 games and when we went to leave my BRAND NEW addi...das running shoes had been stolen. We spoke to the owner of the bowling alley and he refused to do anything for us. All he kept saying was that in 10 years that had never happened. I asked to have him reimburse me the cost of the shoes and all he kept saying is that he isn't responsible and gave me a pair of retired bowling shoes (as you can imagine they were terrible.) so I didn't have to walk barefoot in the 6 degree weather back to my car. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Oh the owner was nice enough to say that I could keep the last leg bowling shoes. What am I going to do with bowling shoes that should be in the trash??”
